GERI appoints Norrie Ramsay to its Board of Directors

We are pleased to share that we’ve strengthened our Board of Directors with the addition of Dr Norrie Ramsay, a highly respected leader in the Oil & Gas industry.

Most recently Cenovus Energy’s Executive VP of Upstream, Dr Ramsay started his 35-year O&G career in the UK Government’s Oil Industry Regulatory Unit before taking on roles with Marathon Oil Corporation, bp, Talisman Energy and TransCanada respectively. Dr Ramsay has held O&G positions with full P&L accountability and responsibility for strategic direction, the purchase and integration of assets, offshore and onshore capital projects, and technical governance to name a few.

With a career that has taken him around the globe, including in culturally diverse and complex environments, this appointment is a testament to GERI’s commitment to innovation and excellence in oil recovery and to global growth opportunities.
